Commissioned by ELIQUO Water & Energy BV, Biogas Holland B.V. has been contracted to realize a biogas treatment for Waterschap Scheldestromen at the sewage water treatment plant of Willem Annapolder. The biogas treatment follows a biogas scrubber developed in-house by Eliquo and Waterschap Scheldestromen, which largely removes hydrogen sulphide (H2S), so that the addition of ferric oxide can be greatly reduced. Subsequently, the biogas treatment ensures that the biogas is cleaned of residual hydrogen sulphide, siloxanes and water. The cleaned gas is converted into electrical energy and heat by means of a cogeneration.

In very good cooperation with ELIQUO Water & Energy BV and Waterschap Scheldestromen, we have completed this project to all satisfaction.
